The Dr Deepak Kaura award is for graduate students at UBC working on the mathematics of medicine. The award ($1,750 for 2024-25) can be used by the recipient to help fund costs of research or to supplement their research stipend. Preference will be given to students whose research is likely to have tangible benefits to medicine.
