Travel to present lectures and posters at conferences, for field research, and for collaboration is an important aspect of research in the mathematical sciences. The IAM provides several travel grants each year for IAM-affiliated PhD students who have completed (or will soon complete) their breadth requirements. A student may receive the IAM travel grant at most once during their PhD program. If you wish to apply for one of these awards, please fill out the form below. The application must be submitted in the first month of the academic term during which travel will occur (by September 30 for term 1, by January 31 for term 2, by May 31 for summer term).
