- My roommate Ken says that the best search engines now are
Savvy Search and
Google. If it can't
be found there, then one should take the mighty step of
using Dog Pile.
- Jeff
Orchard says that
Alta Vista is the search engine to use.
- Web Crawler is a fairly
good search engine.
- HotBot boasts
that it has the most.

Lycos is a great place to search on key words.
The results of each search are given a likelihood ranking
on how close the match is. However, everyone and their
grandmother now uses it.
- Yahoo has it
all, and it's sorted by subject.

W3 servers does it all geographically.
- General Coverage

The Gate Cybersports features the best the bay
area has to offer in the world of sports. You can
search for columnists here as well.

ESPNET Sports Zone took over what used
to be Satchel Sports. It should contain
all the sports info fit to print.
- Fox Sports
is a nice alternative to ESPN.

Sports Access is Sports Illustrated on the
Web.
- Find out what's happening in sports from the Candians'
point of view at TSN.
