Welcome to the IAM website. Here is some basic information about us:
• The UBC Institute of Applied Mathematics has been in existence since 1970 and is now part of the created in 2007 College for Interdisciplinary Studies.
• We occupy rooms 306, 309 and 311 of the Leonard S. Klinck Building, centrally located on the beautiful UBC Point Grey campus.
• We offer a stimulating work and study environment for our graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, local faculty, and visiting scientists pursuing interdisciplinary research in mathematics and another field.
• We provide office space for up to 24 of our graduate students and visitors.
• The IAM members have access to our computational facilities, a meeting lounge, and a library.
