Faculty and students of the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences (EOS) are housed principally in the Geology building but there are others in the Geophysics and Astronomy building and elsewhere on campus. The deparment was created from the amalgamation of the former departments of Geology, Oceanography and Geophysics.
