Second Seminar Retreat 2006

This year's IAM Seminar Retreat was organised by Prof. Dan Coombs
(IAM Faculty, Dept. of Mathematics), Prof. Michael Ward
(IAM Director, Dept. of Mathematics) and Dr. Marek Labecki
(IAM Research/IT Manager).
The event took place from 9 am to 5:30 pm on Monday, 10th April, 2006,
inside the stylish
Minnekhada Lodge,
located in the Minnekhada Regional Park.
We had a total of 13 talks covering a variety of topics in Applied Mathematics
(see the Retreat Schedule for more details).
All sessions went quite smoothly, and during lunch break our group took
a 2-hour scenic walk around Minnekhada Park.
